Guess which two babies clipped the FIVE POUND mark? Hooray!
The boys are doing great and all things look on track. They are sticking to their 3 hour wake and eat schedule. Although at night, of course, they prefer more frequent attention. We are so thankful to our amazing family and friends who have made the most generous offers of help and support.
Cal is being a very good and attentive big brother (minus a few instances of eye-poking and coloring heads). He is definitely “exploring” some “boundaries” and “testing” our “limits” but we keep reminding ourselves that we need to cut him a little slack and give him a little grace (in addition to the daily “Christmas in September” gift giving and hourly sugar allowance) as he learns to share his King of the Universe throne. He’s very proud of his little Cs but even more excited about sitting in the third row of our car. And we just can’t believe how Cooper is the spitting image of this big brother. Here’s to hoping these little guys have their brother’s fun-loving personality and charm. Cal’s energy and enthusiasm is in a different cosmos than the babies’ right now, but I know it will only be a matter of time before they are all on the same playing field.
And that’s when we invest in the padded walls.

So very happy to hear things are beginning to settle into a routine…or at least as routine as possible with 3 little ones! I know you are probably tired to the bone but know that I am praying for strength for all of you. Love you all and wish I was there to share the joy (and the work, too!)
They’re adorable- I can’t believe how much Cooper looks like Cal! You guys are rock stars- we have lots to learn from you! Thinking of you!
YIPPEE! Five pounds is a big deal!! For Cooper and Crosby to gain and for the rest of us to lose! SO happy to see them home with Big brother and Mom and Dad. Your sense of humor will serve you well as your little brood continues to grow and show their personalities. Hope you and Ted can grab some naps and only wish we were closer to share in all the care. Thinking of you and sending love.
